Mangaluru, Nov 25: Under the watchful gaze of Barthalaomea Capitanio, the Capitanio Composite PU College has flourished for 25 years, rising to become a bastion of knowledge and wisdom.

In honour of this momentous milestone, the institution in association with Karnataka State Kho kho association, DK District Kho Kho Association and Capitanio Kho Kho Sports Club hosting Capitanio Pro Kho Kho - 2023, a grand celebration of sportsmanship and skill for the state level men’s invited teams and districts level men’s teams.

The event will take place on Sunday, November 26, from 8.30 AM to 10.00 PM, at the Capitanio grounds. Lighting the lamp during the ceremony will be ignited by the esteemed U T Khader, speaker of the Karnataka Assembly.

The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Sr Celine Jane Mendonca, the joint secretary of Capitanio PU College. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, mayor, MCC, will inaugurate Capitanio Pro Kho Kho - 2023, and Padmaraj, treasurer, Gokarnatheshwar Temple will unveil the trophy.

Food festival to be featured at the event. Capitanio Composite PU College offers courses under the science, commerce and arts streams. The combinations include PCMB, PCMC, CEBA, HEBA and HEPS. the learned faculty endeavors to impart knowledge that ignites the soul and fuels academic growth. The institution, with its noble pursuits, has forged its way to remarkable triumphs, scaling the peaks of excellence with each passing year.
