Udupi quadruple murder: Muslim Justice Forum meets CM, submits appeal

Udupi, Dec 12: Muslim Justice Forum team visited the family of the mother and three children who were murdered brutally on November 12, and assured that they also bear the pain of the family and consoled them.

Later, the forum took opinions from the victims’ family and met legal advisor of Muslim Justice Forum and high court lawyer Janab Muzafar Ahmed and special government prosecutor of Karnataka Lokayukta Latif Badagannur and discussed the issue.

The forum met Hazrat Moulana Sageer Ahmed Khan Saheb of Karnataka Ameere Shariath and Moulana Maqsood Imran Rashaadi, Imam Jamia Masjid, City Market, Bengaluru as per the guidance of lawyer Janab Muzafar Ahmed and informed them the complete picture of the incident and its seriousness and requested them to pressurize the government to take the inquiry in fast track court and through special public prosecutor and award capital punishment to the accused.

In order to bring execute the demand, the forum met additional chief secretary of the CM of Karnataka government at Vidhana Soudha of Bengaluru and conveyed the complete details of the issue and submitted appeal.

In the development that followed, the forum met political secretary of chief minister Naseer Ahmed at Bengaluru, along with the family of the victims and sought his help to fulfil the demand. Naseer Ahmed immediately responded to the demand and got the team meet legal secretary of the chief minister and also the chief minister himself on the same day.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah who met the victims’ family and MJF team assured to consider the demand and implement the same as soon as possible. This information was shared by Irshad U T, president of Muslim Justice Forum Karnataka.
