Mangaluru, Jun 3: The fourth day of Tredicina devotion preceding the annual feast of St Anthony of Padua was held on June 3, at St Anthony Shrine, Milagres Church, Mangaluru.

Fr Maxim DSouza, parish priest of Jeppu parish celebrated the mass and prayed for nature and the environment. Fr J B Crasta, director, and Fr Gilbert DSouza, Chaplain of St Anthony Ashram, joined him in the concelebration.

Fr Maxim delivered a sermon on the theme "Deepening Our Prayer Life Through Faithful Conversations with the Father."

Fr J B Crasta, director of St Anthony Ashram, led the novena in honour of St Anthony, during which the special intercession of the saint was sought for the various needs and prayer intentions of the devotees.

Choir members of Jeppu parish sang and joined in the thanksgiving. Payasam (sweet dish) was served to all the devotees who attended the devotion.
