Mangaluru, Jun 11: Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sharan Pumpwell has demanded that the district administration and police department immediately withdraw the false cases filed against Hindu activists.

Speaking to the media after visiting Harish Poojari and Nandan, who are receiving treatment at K.S. Hegde Hospital in Derlakatte following the Boliyar stabbing incident, Pumpwell condemned the attacks on the three Hindu activists who chanted "Bharat Mata Ki Jai." He described the Boliyar incident as an example of jihadist activities in areas like Ullal.

"False cases have been registered against those who participated in the event. The FIR was filed based on provocative statements, which is unacceptable. It should be noted that no one made any provocative statements," he asserted.

Present at the occasion were Puneet Attavara, Chandrakas Poonja Kilyoor Guttu, Shivanandan Moolur, Naveen Padalapadi, Harish Acharya, and Venugopal, among others.
