Kuwait: IMA organizes Interactive Get Together on 'Vision 2016'

Kuwait, Oct 26: Social Service wing of Indian Muslim Association (IMA) organized an interactive get together on 'Vision 2016' at Hotel Swiss Bell Plaza here recently.

Vision-2016 is an ambitious plan taken up by Human Welfare Foundation (HWF) - India to uplift the most deprived class in the society.

General secretary of Human Welfare Foundation and chief guest Prof K A Siddique Hassan elaborated on the achievements of Vision-2016 project, which intends to build a society where the Muslims and other deprived communities attain equal standing in socio-economic, educational and health sectors.

He further said that through vision-2016 HWF will try to uplift the status of Muslims and other deprived communities to enable them contribute towards welfare of the country.
 
IMA president Mohammed Aslam in his concluding remark stressed on the importance of the social work with reference to a Hadith, on the Doomsday.

He further added that one can receive Allah's reward if one has done something to alleviate the sufferings of mankind.
 
There was an audio-visual presentation to explain vision 2016 activities.
 
General secretary of IMA Ahmad Ali briefed the activities of IMA.

The Program commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran and was convened by BS Sharafuddin.

Many eminent persons from different walks of life attended the event, where in an interactive question and answer session was arranged.
