Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot visits Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health, Harihar

Davanagere, Jun 25: Thawar Chand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka, visited the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health, Harihar, on Tuesday, June 25 at 1 PM and received blessings from Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of the Diocese of Shimoga.

He was accompanied by Fr George K A, rector of the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health, Harihar. This visit marked a historic moment for the Diocese of Shimoga. 

 

Children from Maria Nivas School welcomed him warmly with flowers. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ honored him with a shawl and garland.

The Governor had arrived earlier here to inaugurate St Aloysius International School and PU College at 12 PM.

    Governor Thawar Chand Ghelot Is a great Person . After performing his official duty of inaugurating St.Aloysius International School & PU College, He felt the need to Visit Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health to get the Blessings. We feel humbled at His generousity.
