Oman, Nov 14: The Bunts community of Oman will celebrate their 24th annual gathering, which is one of the mega events at Ramee resort, Seeb on Friday November 25.   

All Bunts residing at Oman are expected to participate and interact during the day long celebrations of ‘Buntara Sammelana 2011’.

Bunts community residing in Oman, gather once a year to socialize, provide the community members, in particular the younger generations, the opportunity to explore their identity and sense of belonging.
Also this provides an opportunity to interact joyously with each other, to share the experiences, accomplishments, and enthusiasm. Such gatherings not only revive bunts uniqueness but also preserves and promotes ethnic and enriching heritage.

“Even though this day-long community funfest will show case variety of Bunts cultural and entertainment programmess, it will be done without much extravaganza”. Meanwhile, being a community of service, and courageous   people, worthwhile initiative has been started to encourage people to donate blood and help save the lives of others. As a part of the celebrations a Blood donation event will be conducted on November 18“, said convener of the “Buntara Sammelana 2011” organizing committee.
