Dubai, Nov 14: Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates (BDNE), one of the premier associations for Billawas in UAE is all set to celebrate its 14th anniversary on Friday November 18 here at Crown Plaza Hotel. The daylong event is scheduled to start at 10 am and will go on till 6 pm.
Vidhwan Pramod Ullal and Vidhushi Sunitha Jayanth have already arrived from India to train and present various pure classical dances during the programme with some innovative and authentic presentations.
There will be variety of performances including unique and spectacular Classical, Semi Classical, Folk dance, Comedy skits, and Yakshagana ballet ‘Tulu Nada Bali Chakravarthi’.
A special attraction at the event will be the show ‘Tribute to Bollywood’ a presentation by elder members of BDNE, which will be followed by Live DJ Music.
The event is said to be a never before presentation put-together by talent and latest technology. The programme will be telecasted live on ‘Namma TV’ it will be available for viewers around the world both on TV & Web media.
Principal of Shri Gurudev PU College, Belthangady Prof Krishnappa Poojary will be the chief guest along with many other prominent guests from India and Gulf countries. Various community leaders are also invited to be part of the programme.
BDNE started as a small effort has grown to be a household name back in India because of their continuous timely commitment and maximum contribution to the society by way of providing education scholarships to the poor needy students around South Canara, they also provide medical aid to sick and helpless families back home.
BDNE continuously receives requests for help which are scrutinized for genuineness and sanctions are made based on urgency of need. BDNE’s initiatives are well appreciated in various social circles and communities. Many excelling students are going to be recognized and felicitated for their academic achievements during the event along with best community workers from BDNE working Committee.
Committee members are enthusiastically preparing to host this programme and roll out a unique entertainment package with meaningful presentations.
