Ajman: GMC Hospital Conducts Blood Donation Camp in Assn with Ministry of Health

Ajman, Nov 15: In continuation of the regular humanitarian services to the public, GMC Hospital, Ajman in association with the Ministry of Health and Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre conducted a Blood Donation Camp recently here at GMC Hospital premises. 

The event was open to public and staff of GMC Hospital. The main objective of conducting the blood donation camp was to educate the community on the beneficial aspects of blood donation and to promote awareness amongst the general public about safe blood transfusion and motivate people to donate blood voluntarily for a noble cause.

GMC Hospital authorities conduct blood donation camps throughout the year on a regular basis, in order to aid government blood banks and other regulatory bodies in relation to voluntary blood donation.

A total of 42 donors voluntarily donated their blood for the generous cause.

The  humanitarian endeavor was highly appreciated by the donors and the authorities of Ministry of Health, Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre.
