Beltangady: Bike hits road divider, rider killed on spot

Beltangady, Oct 11: A bike rider died on the spot after his two-wheeler collided with a road divider near Guruvayanakere Shaktinagara.

The deceased has been identified as Sudheesh (30), a resident of Katte in Tenkakarandoor village.

Police arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection, and registered a case. The body has been shifted to Beltangady government hospital.

Sudheesh, a painter, was returning home from Uppinangady on Thursday when the accident occurred. Two lamps on the divider were also damaged in the incident. Sudheesh sustained severe head injuries and died instantly.

He is survived by his father, two sisters, and two brothers.

    MAny a times reckless driving .. Advertising by 2 wheelers companies .. Speeed and dangerous driving to show the product .. Actually stunts are done by professionals but public and youth cannot understand and try to imitate .. also. Road hazards. Dividers etc Now education should be there on Mainly to adopt safe driving with all safety helmets etc ... A youth has needlessly died and family suffers
