Abu Dhabi: UAE, Germany Hold Talks


Abu Dhabi, Dec 14 (IANS/WAM) UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with his German counterpart Christian Wulff who is currently on a visit to the Gulf region.

At the meeting held Monday in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa hoped Wulff's visit would contribute towards bolstering friendship as well as economic cooperation between the two countries.

The UAE president emphasised the importance of benefiting from Germany's knowledge in technology and industry, through joint investment projects.

Wulff noted the achievements made by the UAE in various fields. He said his visit will encourage his country to find more opportunities for cooperation with the UAE.
