Mangaluru, Dec 14: The Annual Day celebration of St Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, was held with great enthusiasm and splendor on two consecutive days, December 12 and 13. The event showcased the talent, creativity, and hard work of students from nursery to class 10.

Nursery to class 5

The celebration for nursery to class 5 students took place on December 12. The programme was hosted by vibrant emcees Rinshi, Aarush, Ancia, and Ishan from class 5. The event began with a prayer song and a prayer dance followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by the headmaster, sir Aloysius D'Souza, who highlighted the importance of nurturing young minds through holistic education.

The chief guest for the day, Lloyd Lobo, graced the occasion with his presence, and the event was presided over by Fr Lanson Maxim Pinto. Their inspiring speeches emphasized the value of education and the role of parents and teachers in shaping the future of children.

The students mesmerized the audience with their colourful and energetic performances, ranging from dances and skits to musical renditions. The hard work and dedication of the students and teachers were evident in every performance. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by teacher Rose D'Souza.

Higher Primary and High School (class 6 to 10)

On December 13, the Annual Day celebration for classes 6 to 10 was conducted. The programme was elegantly anchored by Ashwil Lobo and Ankita, who ensured a seamless flow of events. The headmaster, sir Aloysius D'Souza, welcomed the gathering with an inspiring speech that set the tone for the evening.

The chief guest, Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, and the president, Fr Benjamin Pinto, graced the occasion and delivered motivating speeches. They appreciated the efforts of the school in fostering academic and extracurricular excellence among students.

The performances by the senior students were equally captivating, showcasing a blend of tradition and modernity. The event highlighted teamwork, creativity, and cultural diversity, leaving the audience in awe.

The Annual Day celebration was a grand success, thanks to the tireless efforts of the students, teachers, and management. It was a memorable occasion that reflected the spirit and excellence of St Aloysius English Medium School.
