Kasargod, Jan 15: A young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a stationary tipper truck near Kairkatte in Paivalike. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Ashif (29) from Paivalike Bapadavu.

The incident came to light around 3 am today when Ashif was discovered lifeless. Upon receiving information, Manjeshwar police rushed to the spot and transported him to Bandyodu Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Reportedly, Ashif left his house around 2 am after receiving a phone call. He is said to have gone out in the tipper truck but did not return for a long time. Concerned friends began searching for him and eventually found him unconscious inside the truck.

Bloodstains were reportedly found inside the truck, and Ashif’s slippers were discovered outside the vehicle, raising suspicions about the circumstances of his death. Local sources have noted these irregularities, and the police have launched a detailed investigation into the case.
