Mangaluru: Car overturns; two sustain minor injuries, one seriously hurt

Mangaluru, Jan 17: A luxury car overturned near Mundkur-Jarigekatte church in the early hours of Friday, around 3 am. The incident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The car was reportedly traveling from Shivamogga to Mangaluru when the accident happened. Among the occupants, two sustained minor injuries, while one person suffered serious injuries.

Pilgrims participating in the Kateel foot march immediately informed social worker Kedinje Suprith Shetty about the mishap.

Responding promptly, Suprith Shetty arrived at the scene and helped shift the injured individuals to a hospital in Kinnigoli for medical attention.

    High speed and potholes maybe one of the reason but my advise is at WEE HOURS, The driver should be careful, it's better to stop driving around 4am to 6am, and wash face and better have a cup of hot tea.

    probably high speed is the reason...Indian roads are meant to be driven at a maximum speed of 60 km per hour..as there are vicious bends, potholes and barriers kept even on highways...
