Mahakumbh Nagar, Feb 3: With the sacred Basant Panchami bath (‘Amrit Snan’) set for Monday, a massive influx of devotees and tourists has already gathered on the holy banks of Triveni in Prayagraj for the grand Mahakumbh. Among them, the transgender community has arrived in large numbers, embracing the spiritual fervor of the occasion.
As thousands take a dip at the Sangam, chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in devotion, the entire atmosphere has turned deeply spiritual. The local administration has ramped up security arrangements at the Ghats, ensuring smooth conduct of the sacred event.
Overwhelmed by the divine experience, members of the transgender community expressed their joy at witnessing such an auspicious occasion. They called upon people to visit the Mahakumbh and experience the spiritual energy by taking the holy dip.
“We feel blessed to be part of this grand event. Nowhere else have we seen such a powerful religious gathering,” said Bisakha Kinnar, a transgender leader. She prayed for the health and prosperity of all, urging everyone to embrace the divine grace of the sacred bath.
Seers, along with the transgender community, were seen singing and dancing on the Ghats, celebrating the glory of Mahakumbh. “This is a sight unmatched not just in India but across the world,” remarked Billo Kinnar, another transgender leader, as she joined in the devotional chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’.
With faith and devotion uniting lakhs of pilgrims, the Mahakumbh continues to be a symbol of spiritual grandeur, welcoming all who seek divine blessings.
