These were recently inaugurated in collaboration with the Mangaluru City Corporation. However, minister Gundurao stated that neither he nor his office was informed about the event beforehand, calling it a clear breach of protocol.

Minister Gundurao has directed that action be taken against the officials responsible and has also instructed that contract workers involved in the event be immediately released from their duties.

On the Inauguration day of the Primary Health Centre, I visited the venue early in the morning to see the arrangements. From the hoardings and the sign boards it looked like a BJP function, and not a government program. All the names were only of BJP office bearers. Not a single member from the Karnataka Government! Government should take strict action against the organizers.
