BPSC slams Khan sir over exam controversy, warns students against misinformation

Daijiworld Media Network- Patna

Patna, Feb 20: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has strongly criticized renowned Patna-based coaching teacher Faishal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, for his calls to cancel the 70th BPSC Prelims exam over alleged irregularities.

In a post on its official X handle, BPSC accused Khan Sir of using “vulgar, rude, and indecent” language while addressing the issue. The commission warned students to be wary of such educators and labeled him a “self-proclaimed coaching operator” who is allegedly misleading aspirants and tarnishing the reputation of a constitutional institution.

Khan Sir has been at the forefront of student protests, demanding an investigation into suspected question paper mishandling in Gaya and Nawada districts. He claims that the question papers were not properly deposited in the treasury, raising concerns about possible tampering.

According to him, the set of question papers that were not deposited was later used in the January 4 re-exam, which saw a significantly higher pass percentage of 19%, compared to just 6% in the original December 13 exam.

BPSC has categorically denied all allegations, insisting that the exam was conducted transparently and fairly. It has accused coaching institutes of fueling unnecessary panic among candidates and has hinted at potential legal or administrative action against those spreading “misinformation.”

As the controversy deepens, protesting candidates and Khan Sir continue to demand a re-exam, citing concerns over fairness and transparency in the examination process.
