Mumbai, Mar 25: Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed officials to expedite the completion of various approved power transmission projects across the state to ensure a stable and uninterrupted electricity supply.

Chairing a high-level review meeting, Fadnavis emphasized the urgent need to fast-track transmission projects, particularly in regions facing power supply constraints. He stressed that any delays in execution must be addressed immediately, urging coordination between various departments and power utilities.

• Resolve pending approvals for transmission projects to prevent unnecessary delays.

• Ensure timely land acquisition and environmental clearances.

• Deploy advanced technology to modernize the state’s power grid.

• Strengthen transmission networks to support growing energy demands, especially in industrial and urban zones.

Fadnavis reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to bolstering Maharashtra’s energy infrastructure, ensuring that ongoing and future projects are completed within stipulated timelines. Officials have been instructed to submit progress reports regularly to monitor developments.
