Mumbai, Mar 28: The first phase of Mumbai Metro Line 9, covering an 11.38 km stretch from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayandar, is set to be operational by the end of the year, bringing relief to thousands of daily commuters.
The much-awaited corridor, an extension of Metro Line 7, aims to improve connectivity between Mumbai and the rapidly developing suburbs of Mira Bhayandar. Once operational, it will significantly cut travel time and ease congestion on the city's overcrowded roads.

Officials confirmed that construction is progressing as per schedule, with key infrastructure elements nearing completion. The new metro route will feature multiple stations, modern facilities, and seamless integration with existing transport networks.
With this expansion, the Mumbai Metro network continues its push toward enhancing public transportation, offering a faster and more efficient commuting alternative for residents in the region.
