Bantwal, Mar 29: In a remarkable stride toward making future-ready skills accessible to all, Good for Good Charitable Trust successfully conducted an inspiring edition of its FutureFit workshop series at Sri Rama Vidyakendra, Kalladka. Themed ‘Robotics and coding using microbit and maqueen’, the workshop was a transformative experience for rural schoolchildren, designed to introduce them to the world of STEM-based education through immersive, hands-on learning.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka, who lit the ceremonial lamp and delivered a powerful keynote. He applauded the trust's vision of nurturing innovation at the grassroots level and commended its efforts in creating meaningful bridges between technology and rural education.







School headmaster Raviraj warmly welcomed the trust and introduced its team to the assembled students and faculty, expressing heartfelt gratitude for bringing such a progressive initiative to their campus.
The stage was adorned by the presence of trust president Akshay Suvarna, vice president Sathyaraj, secretary Eshan, treasurer Prajnesh, and core members Pavan, Sachith, Gurumoorthy, Ratan, and Roshan. Akshay Suvarna introduced the team and shared the vision behind the FutureFit series, highlighting its mission to equip young minds with tools to thrive in a digital world. As a gesture of goodwill, the Trust also presented a memento to the school.

The workshop featured a dynamic blend of interactive demonstrations, hands-on robot building, coding challenges, and problem-solving tasks-all designed to ignite curiosity and foster innovation. Students enthusiastically engaged with the microbit and maqueen kits, quickly adapting to the basics of programming and mechanical assembly.
The session culminated in a high-energy robo race, where students raced the robotic cars they had built and coded themselves. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and excitement, as the young participants showcased their creations. The joy on their faces was unmistakable, and many expressed a strong desire to be part of more such workshops in the future.
This event marks another milestone in good for good's mission to empower underprivileged youth through knowledge, technology, and opportunity-ensuring no child is left behind in the race toward a brighter, tech-driven future.
