In this case the Compensation of Rs 75 Lakhs should be paid like in an aircrash. This should be paid by LANDLINKS owned by Palemar.Palemar has made alot of money in sand mining/speculating in real estate/promoting apartment complexes /granite quarring etc in DK like G.Janardhana Reddy & family. Now it is learnt that the Mangalore University is conferring a Doctorate degree for his social work and philanthrophy. The only philanthrophy was that he recently adorned Lord Gokarnatheswar with a platinum crown studded with diamonds worth Rs 2.5 Cr.This is news from Karavali Ale.

i have 2 incidents to write and this is true since it happened to me and a few others , One last week MP Nalin kumar was in his toyota suv , i with my child and wife on bike he tried all possible ways to get past us down honking repeatedly , i didnt realise it was him and was angry the driver then somehow went zooming past us almost trying to hit us, and MR Mp was not even knowing what was happening , such people are our representatives, second two days back Cm was passing Bendore and is entrouge God how many vehicles , my child and so many other children were stranded and were late to school. Cant the ministers irresective of parties allow smooth traffic flow , why block transport?? only PM and president should get this chance , not others. we had to wait eventhough CMs vehicle was not insight , it was frustating..and they call themselves A PARTY WITH A DIFFERENCE < when u get power and money culture is thrown out of the window i guess, showing real culture.

Why Palemar needs so much escort at the cost of tax payers??? If he is such a good servent of the public he should not be afraid to go anywhere with his vehicle. Moreover he should drive himself and not a special driver so that he understands the problems of a ordinary commutter. Go to other countries in the world most of them drive themselves instead of wasting taxpayers money. Moreover this Mr.Palemar has made his own rules with regard to the sand because he has to build illegal buildings all over Karnataka while he is in power. People of Karnataka wake up, please do not vote for these kind of fake leaders. As long as these selfish leaders exist ordinary people will not improve. Now let us see how much compensation he is going to give to this poor mans family????

Dinesh Poojary, Kundapura/Bengaluru our commentators are waiting for an opportunity to blame BJP govt. So are commenting out of sense. I am asking commentators were you all personally present during the time of accident?? Here without knowledge we cant guess whose fault it is. A person has lost his life. Atleast in this case we all behave like a human being without bringing political parties and will pray for his soul to rest in peace.

When we vote the minister they will get Licence to kill. Is this man was dumb could not see such a big convoy? Hope the well to do minister will help the victims family. May his soul rest in peace. I feel pity for his family. These small ministers want to make a big show of themselves. Their contribution to the society is nil. But they will amas lots of property n amend rules for their own benefits. Now the sand prices are gone so high bcz of this ministers home made rules.

First of all I pray god to give strength to Chandrahas's family to come out of sorrows. May his soul rest in peace.

I can see peoples comments against Palemar & his driver. If it is his fault then he deserves punishment.

This accident has gained momentum because it was minister's vehicle that took a life. Mishaps can happen to anyone. Last month the car carrying Yogish Bhat and his family met with accident in Sullia, luckily nothing happened.

Don't blame Palemar and his driver just because he is a politician. For VIPs, usually well trained driver will be appointed. We people do not know whose fault caused this accident. Only eye witnesses will be able to tell..

The Minister enjoys this convoy.Infact he had requested the Commissioner of Police for additional 3 escort vehicles but was refused .Is the Minister on the hit list of Pak terrorists or Al queida ? Who's money is being wasted on this tamasha ? In this time of recession the Minister should travel locally by city bus or an auto.Let him also come to know the plight of the common man & his voters !

Driver's/Rider's in M'lore think that they own the roads and even own the footpaths. They do not respect the pedestrians who in M'lore do not have proper footpath to walk. Only GOD should help the pedestrian's in M'lore. So what do we expect in this case MLA' S escort vechile to knock down a pedestrian. Why should the distict in-charge have an escort vehicle to had further confusion in controlling the traffic? Cannot the MLA travel without an escort. The driver of the escort vehicle should be punished for the CRIME.

It’s a sad incident, May Mr. T Chandrahas Kambalapadav’s soul rest in peace. This is a sad state of affairs in India. Where a tax payer or a voter has no “VALUE”, the only time we are valued or cared is during elections or during the taxation season.
I would totally blame the ministers escort vehicle. I have personally seen them drive like a maniac. Looks like they are made to believe they have no rules to follow in this country.
    My only question is
Mangalore city police were are speed limits for the ministers. (Even with all the convenience you never see them make it on time.)
Who do they think they are public servants or the landlords?
I would love to know what will happen to the case filed. (Can predict that it will not follow)
End of the day it’s just another Indian who bears the blunt of these dirt politicians

Now a days the escort is too much for ministers. It is not at all required. The ministers are not bothered about the people who got disturbed at that time. Dear CM Sadananda Gowda i request you to come to Dakshina Kannada without any escirt hereafter. and same thing you order for other ministers of your cabinet also. This is my humble request with you on behalf of the disturbed people. because today morning so many people were got disturbed because of you.

Not surprising at all. It is a regular feature to see these politicians going around the city roads at high speeds with sirens blaring. There are many times when traffic is held up to make way for these demigods! Traffic rules and speed limits are not applicable to these people at all. Whatever happens, this will not change. We do not value human life in India.
