Gurugram, Apr 1: Three individuals were arrested by Gurugram police on Tuesday for allegedly performing dangerous stunts in a moving car, which disrupted traffic and posed a significant risk to commuters in the Badshahpur area.
The accused Rohan Yadav, Krishna Yadav, both residents of Fazilpur Jharssa, and Hitesh Yadav, a resident of Sector-21, Gurugram were found performing stunts at high speed, causing a temporary traffic jam. Police also seized three cars involved in the reckless acts: a Mahindra Thar, a Swift, and a Verna.

The authorities traced the suspects through CCTV footage, which showed the cars performing stunts, and later identified the vehicles based on their registration numbers. The video of the stunt, which circulated on social media, led to the police investigation and the registration of a case under the relevant sections at the Badshahpur police station.
During questioning, the accused admitted to performing the stunts for enjoyment and to make videos for social media. Rohan and Krishna Yadav, brothers by relation, have studied BBA and BCA respectively, while Hitesh Yadav holds an MBA degree.
Although the three suspects were released on bail on Monday night, their vehicles have been impounded. Police have warned the public against engaging in such dangerous acts, stressing that strict action will be taken against anyone found performing similar stunts in the future.
Earlier in January, four men were arrested for performing stunts in a moving Ford Mustang GT on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase-I, also to post videos on social media.
"We appeal to the public not to engage in such reckless acts that endanger the lives of commuters. Strict action will be taken against those found violating the law," said Sandeep Kumar, spokesperson for Gurugram Police.
