Mumbai: ‘Bisuta Dina’ Tulu song to be released on Apr 13 by Ailesa to mark Tulu New Year

Mumbai, Apr 11: To mark the joyous occasion of Tuluva New Year, Bisuva, a special song titled ‘Bisuta Dina’—penned by renowned poet and orator Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli—will be released on April 13 at 8 pm on the Zoom digital platform. 

Composed by Tulu cinema’s celebrated music director V Manohar, the song beautifully captures the natural and cultural splendor of Bisuva through the evocative lyrics of Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli. 

The song will be released by renowned Hindustani music enthusiast, tabla player, and senior executive at Wipro, Haridas S P Acharya. It has been sung by rising Mumbai-based singer Shraddha Bangera, who is a recipient of the Tulu Siri award, under the direction of V Manohar. The song also features unique group vocals by around seven female singers.

 

Recorded at Ashwini Recording Music Company in Bengaluru, the song has been produced by Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Arul Hegde and the video has been produced by Ridhi Creations, Udupi. The event will be coordinated by Ananth Rao. 

As with previous releases, the song will be launched on Ailesa’s Zoom Digital Platform and also on Ailesa: The Music Channel on YouTube. Music lovers are invited to join the virtual event using Zoom ID: 5340283988 and Passcode: 0324. Ailesa’s technical expert Gopal Patte has encouraged the audience to make use of the platform. 

This song is considered a unique gift for the Tulu New Year and is expected to win the hearts of Tuluvas, said Ailesa’s Mumbai coordinator Surendra Kumar Marnad with confidence.
