Mumbai, Jun 17: In the delightful step towards nurturing responsibility, leadership and community spirit among its youngest learners, Ryan Shalom Montessori, Andheri introduced its Montessori Student Council.

With scarfs and badges, the children took on their new role with enthusiasm and pride.

The formation of the student council is a part of the school’s ongoing commitment to holistic development.

Even at the Montessori level, children are given the opportunity to make choices and take initiative in shaping their classroom communities.

"Our aim is to plant the seeds of leadership early," said Suzanne Rodrigues, head of the school.
