Mangaluru, Jul 16: On July 12, Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College arranged the “Victorian Family Day” which was an initiative taken to bring together its students of past and present.
The day had the celebrations like fresher’s day for first years, class socials for second years and also reunion of Victorian Memorias alumnae association.
The guest for the day was Sharmila Amin, anchor for Daijiworld as well as alumna of Ladyhill institutions. The programme began with a prayer session followed by prayer dance from I Commerce.

The II Commerce had a melodious singing of multilingual mashup songs. The II Science presented a heart touching and thoughtful skit on the influence of bad company in college life. The students of I Science, II Commerce and I Commerce had came on stage with a bang to dance on trending songs. During the programme, the toppers and distinction holders of II PUC Board exams 2025 were felicitated with mementos.
The chief guest boosted the audience energy with her high octane anchoring skills and shared her journey from Ladyhill school as a student to now as a professional. She emphasised on the fact, that the values she learnt from this institution such as time management, discipline and confidence, gave her the courage to reach the pinnacle of glory and achieve success in her life.
The alumnae also had a chance to perform on stage to display their dancing and singing talents and some spot games were organised.
Vice president of Victorian Memorias and young author Reshel Bretney Fernandes also joined the event inspite of her busy schedule and addressed the audience.
At the end, a short meeting was arranged for the alumnae wherein the report of previous annual meeting and the financial statement for the year were read. The principal and president of Alumnae Association Sr Sharmila AC instructed the alumnae members, the need and their contribution towards the association.
The faculty members, all students, the executive committee of Victorian Memorias and the alumnae together were present for the celebration.
The audience was welcomed by Archana, student president and Khatija Mushrifa of I Science delivered the vote of thanks. Altogether, the entire function was a memorable event for Victorian Memorias and Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College.
