Podar International School hosts special session on innovation by expert resource person

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 23: In line with its long-standing commitment to holistic education and fostering creative thinking among students, Podar International School, Mangaluru, will organise a special interactive session titled 'Innovation and its ideas' on July 21 at the school campus.

The session will be conducted by a renowned resource person, whose expertise and experience in the domain of innovation are expected to inspire and enlighten the young minds in attendance.

Established in 1927 by Sheth Anandilal Podar, the Podar Education Group has upheld the core Indian values of honesty, integrity, and service for nearly a century. Notably, Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, was the first President of the Anandilal Podar Trust—a historic connection that reflects the trust's rootedness in Gandhian values.

Today, the Podar Group stands as a leading educational network in India with 149 institutions across the country, serving over 2,30,000 students, and supported by a dedicated team of more than 8,000 staff members.

Speaking ahead of the programme, the school’s management expressed their enthusiasm about the upcoming session. “We are honoured to welcome such a distinguished personality to guide our students. We believe this will not only widen their understanding of innovation but also ignite their passion to explore creative ideas fearlessly,” a school official said.

The event is part of Podar School’s ongoing efforts to connect students with thought leaders, ensuring they remain future-ready in an increasingly dynamic world.
