Abdul Rehman murder case: One more arrested by Bantwal rural police

 Mangaluru, Jul 26: In connection with the murder of Abdul Rehman at Ira Kodi in Kuryal village of Bantwal taluk, the Bantwal rural police on Friday arrested another accused.

 The arrested has been identified as Sachin alias Sacchu Rottigudde, a resident of Pudu village.

 Abdul Rehman (32), a resident of Kolattamajalu in Badagabellur village, was a driver and also served as the secretary of the Juma Masjid. He and his colleague Kalandar Shafi were attacked with lethal weapons on May 27. While Rahiman succumbed to his injuries, Kalandar Shafi survived the attack.

With this, the total number of arrests in the case has risen to 12, as 11 accused had already been arrested earlier.
