Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies organises mehendi competition

Mangaluru, Aug 6: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a mehendi contest on July 29 with the aim of encouraging creativity and traditional artistry among students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 143 teams, from BBA aviation management, aviation & logistics management, aviation travel & tourism management, and MBA aviation management.

The contest was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Anjana T V, head of the department and event coordinator, along with the cooperation of all faculty and staff members of the Institute.

The event showcased the exceptional talent and artistic flair of the students. The first place was three teams Katheejathul Misbah and Ayishath Sufaila of II year BBA aviation & logistics management, Renishia D’Costa and Samna of I year BBA aviation & logistics management and Shivani and Preethika of II year BBA aviation management.

The second place was secured by three teams Anjali and Fathimath Faiza of III year BBA aviation travel & tourism management, and Inchara Ganesh K and Bhoomika Sanil of I year BBA aviation management and Deeksha Puthran and Pragathi Prakash Acharya of I year BBA aviation management.

The third place was awarded to Aliya S N and Devananda Shajeevan Acharya of II year BBA aviation & logistics management, Sanjana L and Janani B P of I year BBA aviation management & logistics management, and S Shivani and Chaithra K of I Year BBA aviation management.

The institute congratulated all the winners and extended appreciation to all participants and supporters who made the event a grand success.
