Beijing, Aug 28: Xiaomi’s much-anticipated 16 series smartphones have surfaced on China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website, revealing key specifications ahead of their official launch expected in late September or early October.

According to the listing, three handsets from the upcoming lineup will support 100W wired fast charging, setting a new benchmark in Xiaomi’s flagship range. The series is likely to include the standard Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, Xiaomi 16 Ultra, and a newly rumoured compact variant.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that devices bearing model numbers 25098PN5AC, 2509FPN0BC, and 25113PN0EC—believed to be the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini—have been spotted on the certification site. The flagship Xiaomi 16 Ultra, however, is yet to make its appearance.

Reports suggest the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini will be a compact high-end handset, offering specifications similar to the Pro model in a smaller form factor. The standard Xiaomi 16 and Pro Mini are tipped to feature 6.3-inch displays, while the Xiaomi 16 Pro could come with a larger 6.8-inch screen.

Camera specifications are expected to impress, with the standard and Pro variants likely to feature a triple rear setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor (1/1.3-inch) along with a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

All models are rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The standard Xiaomi 16 may pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging—an upgrade over the Xiaomi 15, which came with a 5,400mAh battery and 90W charging.

With Xiaomi gearing up for the official launch in the coming weeks, the 16 series is expected to bring together powerhouse performance, fast charging breakthroughs, and premium design refinements.
