Mississauga, Sep 19: In moments of joy one celebrates together, and in moments of sorrow one seeks comfort in family & community. But what happens when families face the overwhelming burden of loss and the costs that come with it? This is where Canadian Canara Vision Inc (CCVI) steps in, with compassion, foresight, and action, thus ensuring dignity for every soul and relief for grieving families.
Since its inception, CCVI has been quietly doing noble work that touches lives far beyond what meets the eye. From securing burial lots, so no family is left helpless in their time of grief, to hosting educational programs that empower newcomers and youth, various articles that have helped the community since inception in 2015, CCVI embodies what it means to serve selflessly.

A legacy of care
It all began with the vision of Max Mendes, whose dream was to provide dignity and support to families in their most vulnerable moments. With the commitment of like-minded directors who came together, this vision was transformed into a living reality.
One of CCVI’s most profound achievements is the establishment of St Peter’s Burial Place at Meadowvale Cemetery, where more than 300 burial lots have already been secured, with expansion planned to secure more burial lots. In a remarkable gesture of compassion, 5% of these lots are reserved for families in financial need. Already, seven families have been gifted plots, offering them peace of mind in their darkest hours.
Beyond burial support, CCVI enriches lives through seminars on taxation, investments, retirement planning, settlement support for newcomers, and career guidance for youth, ensuring that the community thrives not just in times of loss, but also in life’s everyday challenges. This has helped the community since inception in 2015 and has made a positive impact in the lives of the members in our community.
