Bapatla, Nov 6: Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the Clock Tower junction in Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla district headquarters.
According to police sources, the accident took place around 2:30 am when a speeding two-wheeler rammed into a truck from the side. The impact was so powerful that both the riders were thrown off the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries on the spot.

CCTV footage from the area shows the two-wheeler approaching at high speed before crashing into the lorry. The bike was completely mangled in the collision, and passersby could be seen rushing to the scene moments later to assist the victims.
Police confirmed that neither of the riders was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which contributed to the severity of their injuries. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and an investigation is underway to determine further details.
Authorities have once again urged motorists to follow speed limits and wear helmets to prevent such fatal mishaps.
