Russian president Putin to visit India for two-day summit with PM Modi

New Delhi, Nov 28: Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit India for a two-day trip starting December 4, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed on Friday.

During his visit to New Delhi, President Putin will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit.

The MEA stated that the discussions will focus on assessing the current state of bilateral cooperation, setting priorities to strengthen the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, and addressing key regional and global issues of shared concern.

The visit comes at a time of intensified geopolitical developments, reflecting the strategic importance of India–Russia ties in international affairs.
