Kasauli, Feb 21: JP Nadda, union minister for Health and Family Welfare, will launch the Tetanus and Diphtheria (Td) vaccine today at the Central Research Institute in Himachal Pradesh.

The introduction of the Td vaccine marks a significant step towards strengthening India’s public health system and enhancing the effectiveness of the national immunization programme. The vaccine is aimed at providing protection against serious and potentially life-threatening diseases such as tetanus and diphtheria.
