Udupi, Mar 3: Dhananjay, state president of KPCC legal and human rights cell, in a press meet held on Friday March 2, said that Congress would stage a protest if the state administration does not allow the mainstream media to cover the proceedings at the legislative assembly in the wake of the exposure of the ‘porngate’ scandal by a segment of the visual media.

“Chief minister Sadananda Gowda is the MP who attended least number of days of parliamentary sessions. We will stage a protest for freedom of media,” said Dhananjay.

He condemned the attack on the media by the lawyers in Bangalore on Friday March 2. He also alleged the failure of the police and urged them to arrest the wrongdoers and take legal action.

Vijay Hegde and Harish Shetty were present at the press meet.
