Fire breaks out at timber yard in Diva; no casualties reported

Thane, Apr 2: A fire broke out at a timber yard in Diva in the early hours of Thursday, triggering a prompt response from fire brigade personnel. The incident was reported to the Disaster Management Cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) at around 4:43 am, officials said.

Firefighters from the Diva Beat Fire Station rushed to the spot with a fire tender and a rescue vehicle to bring the situation under control. The blaze was contained to one section of the timber yard, where a quantity of timber was damaged.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.
