Mumbai, Apr 22: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced plans to develop an Integrated Logistics Park (ILP) in Navi Mumbai, aiming to position the region as a logistics hub of national importance.
Around 374 hectares of land near Chirle village in Pushpak Node have been earmarked for the project, which will include core infrastructure, utility networks, common facilities and social amenities.

In a statement, CIDCO said the project comes amid rapid growth in India’s logistics sector, driven by expansion in e-commerce, manufacturing and global trade.
It said Navi Mumbai is emerging as a strategic logistics destination due to its proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), and connectivity through major infrastructure projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, the proposed Multi-Modal Corridor and the Dedicated Freight Corridor.
CIDCO Vice Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Singhal said the logistics park is envisioned as a future-ready ecosystem to facilitate efficient movement of goods, attract investment and support economic growth.
“The pilot phase is a significant step towards unlocking this potential and establishing Navi Mumbai as a logistics hub of national importance,” he said.
As part of the project rollout, CIDCO has launched a pilot initiative and invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) through a competitive bidding process for 12 plots.
The proposed logistics park is expected to strengthen supply chain infrastructure and boost Navi Mumbai’s role in the country’s logistics and trade network.
