Mangaluru, Oct 6: Rail passengers travelling on the Konkan Railway route can expect service disruptions on select dates as track maintenance works prompt partial cancellations, revised timings and en-route regulation of trains, according to a railway release.

On October 8 and 15, Train No. 56616 Mangaluru Central–Madgaon Junction Passenger, scheduled to depart from Mangaluru Central, will terminate at Karwar. The service between Karwar and Madgaon Junction will be partially cancelled on both days.

Meanwhile, Train No. 56615 Madgaon Junction–Mangaluru Central Passenger, scheduled to leave Madgaon Junction at 2.15 pm on October 8 and 15, will instead commence its journey from Karwar at 3.24 pm on the same days. Its service between Madgaon Junction and Karwar will consequently remain partially cancelled.

Departure timings revised

The departure schedule of Train No. 56615 has also been revised on several dates.

• On October 9, 11, 16 and 18, the train originally scheduled to depart Madgaon Junction at 2.15 pm will leave at 3.45 pm, one hour and 30 minutes late.

• On October 6, 13 and 20, its scheduled 2.15 pm departure has been pushed back to 4.55 pm, resulting in a delay of two hours and 40 minutes.

Ernakulam–Pune train to face two-hour regulation
