Udupi, Mar 9: “BJP and Congress faced setbacks in the recently held polls in Uttar Pradesh. It will also happen in Karnataka. The coastal people are intellectuals who seek change. The coastal youth and minority community seek security. There are many followers of former chief minister, the late Bangarappa, in the coastal district. The common man aspires to lead a better life. The change of leadership in the state would further improve the living standard of the lower strata of people,” said JD(S) state youth president Madhu Bangarappa.

Addressing media persons at the press meet held at Hotel Kidiyoor on Friday March 9, Bangarappa urged the voters to exercise their valuable votes for JD(S) candidate Boje Gowda in the forthcoming Udupi–Chikmagalur Lok Sabha by polls.

District JD(S) leaders U R Sabhapati, Muddu Hanume Gowda, Rathan Kumar, Rajesh, Rajanna, Jagdish, and Dinesh were present on the occasion.
