Bantwal: Daylight Theft at Nandavar

Bantwal, Mar 13: Unknown thieves entered a house at Nandavar near Panemangalore here on Monday March 12, and decamped with gold ornaments.

In a complaint filed with the local police, Abdul Majeed from Nandavar said that the theft occurred when the family members had been away to attend a marriage function, by locking the door. The value of gold ornaments, which the thieves took away from an almirah in the house, has been put at Rs 70,000.

A case has been registered in the town police station here. Investigation has been taken up.
