New Delhi, May 24: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will visit Canada next week along with a 150-member business delegation to push trade talks and strengthen bilateral investment ties between the two countries.
According to reports, the visit will focus on advancing discussions on the proposed free trade agreement and exploring fresh investment opportunities across sectors.
The delegation is expected to include leading Indian industry representatives and exporters as both countries look to revive economic engagement after a prolonged diplomatic slowdown.

Officials said the visit could provide momentum to negotiations on the Early Progress Trade Agreement (EPTA), which is seen as a stepping stone towards a comprehensive free trade pact.
India and Canada are also expected to discuss cooperation in areas including technology, clean energy, agriculture and critical minerals.
The development comes at a time when India is actively expanding its global trade partnerships and seeking greater market access for domestic industries.
