Daijiworld Media Networkk – Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Mar 14: For about 30 minutes on Tuesday March 13 evening, rain appeared in Subrahmanya and nearby villages in the taluk. But respite to the people of the region from hot climate was temporary, as temperatures rose sometime after the rain vanished.

Sullia and Kadaba experienced some amount of rain in the afternoon and evening, while Mundaje in Beltangady taluk reported a drizzle in the evening.

Because of the unexpected rainfall, areca nut stocks laid out for drying got drenched. Some places in Kodagu district also received light rain. Thick clouds in some areas indicate possibility of more rains in the coming days.
