Kundapur, Mar 15: “The Election Commission has to voluntarily register a case against the BJP-led state government for breaching the code of conduct in  releasing the report on its recommendation of hike salaries for government employees,” urged former union minister Janardhan Poojary.

Addressing media persons at Blue Waters Hotel on Wednesday March 14, he said that the Election Commission has set a ceiling on expenditure of legislative assembly candidates at Rs 10 lac each, while Sriramulu stated that he had paid Rs 250 crore to former chief minister (CM) B S Yeddyurappa to help the BJP win in the last legislative assembly polls, which amounts to over Rs 1 crore in each legislative assembly constituency.  Poojary urged the Election Commission and tax officials to take early action in this regard.

Poojary further said that the Congress will get a clear majority in the forthcoming Udupi– Chikmagalur by poll, despite BJP and JD(S) trying to divide the votes.  “JD(S) supremo Deve Gowda is not worthy to be a secularist since he had joined hands with communalist BJP to make his son H D Kumaraswamy CM,” added Poojary.

Bhatkal MLA J D Naik, Nanjayamata, Shyamala Bhandary, Raju Poojary, Vasudev Yediyal, and Kalappa Poojary were present at the press meet.

Poojar's statement is baseless. He is in the era of 1960-70. People won't believe him because of his "BOM BAI"

Well done Mr.Poojary being vegilent about elction code and bringing the so called violation by state government to Election commission.Your act is appriciable.
I have a strong doubt in my mind whether your action is really reasonable, appropriate and tenable.Few days back our Central law minister Salman Khurshid was reported indulged in voilation of election code in U.P. election campaign wherein he has openly supported and claimed credit by UPA government the act of snaching 4.5% reservation from 22% reservation of OBCs in favour of minorities.

He was so aggressive in his approach on the isssue and even didn't cared for the Central Election commission and later the issue was referred to the President for necessary action.Nothing was done by UPA government. We never heard a single word from you at that time shows that your present action is not real one but biased. If Salman Khurshid's issue is ignorable then your present allegation against state government has no substance.
