Bhatkal: Body Found in Honnegedde River

Bhatkal, Mar 15: A dead man’s body was found in Honnegedde river, Heble, here. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Janardhan Achari (56).

Police immediately rushed to the spot on receiving information. They believe the man committed suicide.

It is learnt that at around 8 am he left from his house after breakfast. His body was recovered from the river at around 11 am. Family members said that he was alcoholic.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station.
