New Delhi, Jun 21: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday announced that it has started releasing the results of Class 12 verification and re-evaluation applications in phases, while urging students not to rely on rumours or unverified information circulating on social media.
In a post on X, the board said that more than 87 per cent of the applications received had already been processed and their outcomes declared.
CBSE added that the remaining results would be published in stages and the entire exercise is expected to be completed shortly.

Students can check the status of their applications through the official DigiLocker results portal.
The board had received over 70,000 applications seeking post-result corrections and reviews. Of these, more than 63,000 applications were submitted for re-evaluation, while over 7,000 students sought verification of marks.
During the application period, which remained open from June 2 to June 7, the CBSE portal was reportedly targeted by malicious denial-of-service (DoS) attacks aimed at overwhelming and disrupting the online system.
Despite these challenges, the board assured students that every application had been examined through a transparent and closely monitored process to maintain fairness and accuracy.
CBSE advised students and parents to depend only on official announcements and avoid being influenced by misleading claims or unauthorised social media posts.
The board also said its offices would continue to provide necessary guidance and support to students throughout the process.
Meanwhile, Coempt Eduteck, the Hyderabad-based edtech company at the centre of the recent controversy surrounding CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, issued a clarification on June 18.
The company said the scanners used in its operations are standard industry-grade devices that are widely used across the education sector and are upgraded annually to maintain quality.
It also rejected allegations that tender specifications had been altered to accommodate inferior hardware.
Addressing concerns over blurred images of answer sheets, which had triggered widespread criticism after a student's complaint, the company said such cases were being reviewed in coordination with the relevant evaluation authorities.
Regarding an incident in which a CBSE student reportedly received another candidate's answer sheet, Coempt Eduteck said preliminary findings suggested the issue arose during the physical scanning process rather than due to any software malfunction.
The company indicated that the error appeared to be linked to manual oversight.
Coempt Eduteck currently works with more than 35 universities and educational institutions across the country and processes nearly two crore answer booklets annually through services such as digitisation, on-screen evaluation, AI-assisted assessment and question paper management.
