Bristol, Jul 10: India captain Shreyas Iyer urged his young team to learn quickly from their mistakes after England sealed the five-match T20I series with a commanding nine-wicket victory in the third match at the County Ground in Bristol.
Batting first, India posted 158 runs, largely thanks to Iyer's unbeaten 80 off 49 balls, after suffering an early top-order collapse. However, England chased down the target comfortably to take an unassailable lead in the series.

Speaking after the match, Iyer said the team was going through a transition phase and stressed the importance of learning from setbacks.
"It is important that you learn quickly from your mistakes so that the team also benefits eventually. I'm sure there are quick learners in the team, and they will assess themselves and come back stronger in the next game," he said.
The skipper acknowledged that several players were experiencing overseas conditions for the first time and said such experiences would help them improve.
"This is a transition phase, and we will make mistakes. Many youngsters are playing in these conditions for the first time. These mistakes will help them understand the importance of adapting and being aware when playing in overseas conditions," Iyer added.
India's innings got off to a poor start, with openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan falling inside the first six overs after contributing a combined 35 runs.
Iyer's resilient knock helped India recover to 158, but the total proved inadequate as England chased it down with ease to wrap up the series.
