Greater Noida, Jul 13: The District Magistrate's (DM) office in Greater Noida received a bomb threat via email, prompting an immediate security response and a comprehensive search operation by local authorities on Monday.
Soon after the threat was reported, the Surajpur Police launched an extensive search of the District Magistrate's office to ensure the safety of officials and visitors.
Multiple security agencies, including the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), Dog Squad, Fire Brigade and Anti-Sabotage (AS) Team, conducted a thorough inspection of the premises as part of standard security protocols.

Police said no suspicious or objectionable objects had been recovered during the search operation.
Officials added that security personnel remained on high alert and continued to monitor the situation as a precautionary measure.
Authorities have launched a technical investigation to trace the origin of the threatening email and identify those responsible. A cyber team is examining the email and other digital evidence to determine whether the threat was genuine or intended to create panic.
Following the incident, security around the District Magistrate's office has been tightened, with additional precautionary measures put in place while the investigation continues.
