New Delhi, Jul 15: Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will convene a Parliamentary Party meeting on July 21 to outline its legislative agenda and coordinate its strategy for the session.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building and will be attended by Members of Parliament from the BJP and its alliance partners in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
The Monsoon Session is slated to commence on July 20 and continue until August 13, as announced by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.

Ahead of the session, the Centre will hold an all-party meeting on July 19 at 11 a.m. to brief political parties on the government's legislative priorities and seek cooperation for the smooth functioning of Parliament.
The session is expected to witness heated exchanges, with the opposition preparing to raise several contentious issues and challenge the government on matters of public concern.
Political developments within opposition parties are also expected to influence the proceedings. According to reports, 20 Lok Sabha MPs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) have merged with the National Citizens Party of India, sought separate seating arrangements in the House and extended support to the BJP-led government.
The TMC has also reportedly suffered further setbacks with three Rajya Sabha members resigning to join the BJP.
Similarly, Shiv Sena (UBT) has witnessed another split, with six of its Lok Sabha MPs reportedly joining the Eknath Shinde-led faction. Earlier, seven Rajya Sabha MPs from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were also reported to have joined the BJP.
During the session, opposition parties are expected to raise the NEET-UG paper leak issue and seek an explanation from the government over remarks made by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regarding casualties during Operation Sindoor.
The Congress has already submitted a breach of privilege notice against the Defence Minister over the matter.
Meanwhile, the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) examining the proposed 130th Constitution Amendment Bill is expected to adopt its report on July 17.
The proposed legislation has generated considerable political debate, particularly over a provision that seeks the automatic removal of the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and other ministers from office if they remain in judicial custody for 30 consecutive days in cases involving serious criminal charges.
