London, Aug 3: Palestinian artist Bashar Alhroub has unveiled a new exhibition in London that reflects the realities of life in Gaza while conveying a message of resilience and hope amid the ongoing war.

The Ramallah-based painter said his latest collection seeks to portray both the suffering and the enduring spirit of the Palestinian people.

Titled Resurrection, the exhibition is on display at P21 Gallery in London throughout August.

Alhroub said he deliberately chose vivid colours for the artworks and avoided using grey tones, explaining that the artistic choice reflects his personal view on the conflict and his rejection of what he described as "grey areas" in discussions surrounding Israel's military actions in Gaza.

Through the exhibition, the artist aims to highlight themes of survival, renewal and hope despite the destruction and humanitarian crisis resulting from the conflict.

Resurrection will remain open to visitors at the London gallery until the end of August.
