London, Aug 28: Chelsea are reportedly in talks to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as the Premier League club prepares for the possible departure of Enzo Fernandez.
Fernandez, 25, has been pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with Manchester City emerging as a potential destination. However, City are yet to meet Chelsea’s reported £120 million asking price.

According to reports, Chelsea have identified 22-year-old Senegal international Camara as their preferred replacement for Fernandez. The London club are understood to have opened discussions with Monaco over a possible transfer.
Monaco are reportedly reluctant to part ways with Camara, but an offer in the region of €60 million could persuade the French club to consider the deal.
Camara has emerged as one of Monaco’s key midfielders and is being viewed by Chelsea as a long-term option should Fernandez leave the club.
Chelsea are expected to closely monitor negotiations as the transfer window approaches its deadline.
