Mangaluru, Sep 6: Ladyhill School (ICSE) came alive with joy, energy, laughter, music and celebration as the school cabinet joyfully honoured its cherished teachers on Teachers’ Day, September 5. The vibrant celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights who inspire, nurture, encourage and shape young lives, filling the campus with enthusiasm, warmth and heartfelt gratitude.
With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the celebration began with a meaningful prayer service led by head girl Krithika Ganesh and head boy Pranad, organised by the school cabinet. An empty vase soon blossomed into a beautiful bouquet of colourful flowers, each carrying a special prayer for the teachers, for love, joy, peace, wisdom, endurance and protection.
Adding a burst of colour, rhythm and youthful energy to the celebration, the young performers took the stage with a vibrant welcome dance. Their confidence, graceful moves, infectious energy and colourful expressions captivated everyone, filling the hall with music, movement and excitement. This was followed by a presentation on the significance of Teachers’ Day, beautifully highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping character, nurturing dreams and inspiring the future.
The celebration turned up the tempo with a lively round of games, bringing out the playful spirit of the teachers. Their enthusiastic participation, spirited cheers and friendly rivalry filled the hall with laughter, excitement and unforgettable moments. Adding a delightful splash of creativity and emotion, a captivating dance drama and a melodious wishing song dedicated to the teachers made the celebration even more vibrant and memorable.
Adding a warm and memorable touch to the celebration, principal Sr Therese Teena expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the cabinet members for their thoughtful efforts and enthusiastic contribution. She also proudly acknowledged head girl Krithika Ganesh and head boy Pranad for their commendable leadership and dedicated efforts in making the celebration truly special.
In a beautiful burst of gratitude and joy, teachers responded with a soulful thanksgiving song, filling the hall with warmth and heartfelt emotion. It became a touching exchange of appreciation, as students and teachers celebrated the special bond they share.
The celebration came alive with renewed energy as the PTA took the stage with a vibrant programme led by vice president Paresh Narendra. Programme opened with a beautiful prayer song, followed by a warm welcome by PTEC member Nelson Castelino. A heartfelt wishing song then filled the hall with melody, warmth and joy, beautifully expressing PTA’s love, appreciation and gratitude for the teaching faculty.
Adding a heartfelt touch, PTEC member Cyril Fernandes shared cherished memories of his 17-year association with Ladyhill, filling the hall with warmth and nostalgia. The celebration then burst into laughter and excitement with fun-filled games, brilliantly anchored by Mrs Wilita Lobo with her energy and charm.
The programme concluded with principal Sr Therese Teena expressing heartfelt gratitude to Paresh Narendra and the PTEC members for making the celebration joyful, meaningful and memorable. The day concluded with a sumptuous lunch, bringing teachers, staff and PTA members together in an atmosphere of friendship, fellowship and joy.
Teachers’ Day at Ladyhill was truly a celebration to remember, a joyful burst of prayer, gratitude, music, dance and laughter.
